О картинах
В своих живописных работах я стараюсь создать некое волшебство, магию, показать иную, невидимую, сторону реальности нашего мира. Увидеть нематериальное в вещественном, передать на холсте больше, чем видит глаз. Сконцентрировать в небольшом холсте энергию и передать её зрителю. Не за счёт сюжета, а только пользуясь возможностями цвета и света. Дух места в пейзаже, суть вещи в натюрморте и внутренний мир человека в портрете для меня важнее фиксации внешних форм лица, объекта или ландшафта. Этот подход определяет и разнообразие методов и стилей, используемых мною: исходя из конкретной задачи, я могу выбрать в одном случае импрессионистский подход, в другом – экспрессионистское решение, создать реалистическое изображение или абстрактную композицию. Разнообразие и многокрасочность мира определяет и разнообразие техник и технологий, применяемых мною. Любимыми материалами являются масло и акрил на холсте или оргалите, а наиболее близкими мне стилями – импрессионизм и экспрессионизм.
В графических работах для меня довольно важен сюжет, часто он определяет весь характер и строй работы. Однако и в графике, как в живописи, вещественное, материальное начало для меня менее важно, чем образ и дух изображения.
Динамика, движение, экспрессия – почти в любой моей работе, статичные композиции у меня встречаются редко.
In my paintings I try to create a kind of magic to show another, invisible side of the reality of our world. I prefer to see the nonmaterial in the material, to transfer onto the canvas more than the eye can see. I like to concentrate energy in a small painting and pass it to the viewer not by means of the plot, but using only the possibilities of colour and light. The spirit of the place in the landscape, the essence of things in the still life and the inner world of the person in the portrait is more important to me than fixing the external forms of the face, object or landscape. This approach also determines the variety of methods and styles I use: basing on a specific problem I can choose in one case an impressionistic approach, in another — an expressionist decision, create a realistic image or an abstract composition The diversity and multicolourity of the world determines the variety of techniques and technologies I use. My favourite materials are oil and acrylic on canvas or orgalite, and the styles closest to me are impressionism and expressionism. In graphic works the plot is of great importance to me. It often determines the whole character and structure of the work. However, in graphics, as well as in painting, material is less important for me than the image and spirit of the image.
Dynamics, movement, expression are presented in almost all my works, static compositions are quite rare.
